Siam Niramit Show

A unique gem of Phuket is Siam Niramit, a must-see attraction, which tells the tale of authentic Thailand, and offers a truly magical insight into Thailand’s historical influences, arts, and culture. Suitable for visitors of all ages, Siam Niramit is an excellently-run, fun and vibrant evening of entertainment which will be difficult to surpass!

Your evening starts at around 5:30pm, when you enter Siam Niramit’s pristine grounds, and have a chance to browse through the outdoor bazaar, wander the gardens and paddy field, even take to the water by wooden canoe, and experience Thailand’s different provincial styles with representations of dwellings from across the country. Amongst the houses and gardens you’ll glimpse a view into many of Thailand’s many arts and crafts. All this before the evening’s true entertainment begins.

If you’ve chosen to include dinner in your ticket price, a delicious buffet, offering an impressive selection of dishes from all around the world, is available from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. There really is something to satisfy every visitor. Food is freshly made and replenished, beautifully presented, and unusually for Thailand, information on ingredients is readily available.

It is recommended you have an early meal, then head back outside to watch the Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) demonstration, get up and dance with Siam Niramit’s friendly staff, take an elephant ride or see them perform their breathtaking circus act, and watch a majestic procession of elephants and soldiers in their historical battle attire. A camera is certainly recommended!

The evening’s main event, starts at 8:30pm, and is an absolutely spectacular show which promises to take your breath away; Siam Niramit’s 80-minute theatre performance is an enchanting and endearing journey showing you the real Thailand, in multiple acts. The stage set flows with wonder and ease from scene to scene, depicting local village markets with goats and chickens as part of the cast, the Thai festival ‘Loy Krathong’, an amazing underwater world showing the importance of the sea to their livelihood, a beautiful rainforest with real rainfall from the roof, an underground ‘hell’ scene, elephants parading across the stage, and even a boat paddling down the indoor river, cleverly engineered into the front of the stage. The sheer number of performers, in their intricate, colourful costumes and combined with the elaborate stage sets offer an absolute feast for the eyes. Basic subtitles in many languages provide an introduction to various acts, although there are times when you may find yourself clueless yet spellbound due to a lack of clear narration.
