Emergency First Response Instructor Training
The Emergency First Response Instructor Course is a course for those who want to be able to teach primary care, secondary care, first aid and care for children to others. It is a really useful rating to have as these are things that you need outside the field of diving and can be taught to anyone. For example I know of a chap in Bangkok for example who has gone around selling EFR courses for nannies to families in Bangkok. It does not just have to be in the dive environment but obviously applies in it as well. The EFR Instructor rating is now a prerequisite to become a PADI Instructor so well worth getting.
Below is what you will learn on the course.
Prerequisites
Have successfully completed an Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) course or another qualifying CPR course.
Have successfully completed an Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) course or another qualifying first aid course.
Have completed the Emergency First Response Care for Children Course within the past 24 months.
*Note: Those with CPR/First Aid Credentials from another agency may qualify to take the EFR Crossover Course. We suggest you either contact us or contact the PADI Asia Pacific Training Dept. to see if you qualify.
